Molex C-Grid III Female Crimp Contact, 24 to 22AWG - 90119 Series - 90119-2110

This crimp contact from Molex conducts electrical current to a PCB (printed circuit board). It features a box design and uniform locking system that's compatible with a variety of housings. The phosphor-bronze contact material is gold-plated so it won't corrode and provides excellent conductivity. This is a female connector that fits wire sizes ranging from 22 to 24AWG (American Wire Gauge) and offers a high voltage capacity for either alternating or direct currents (AC/DC).

• Crimp termination method provides dependable, gas-tight connections that avoid alloys for greater strength

• Complies with EU environmental and safety standards

• Reduced risk of toxic fumes in case of fire due to low halogen content

• For use with C-Grid III connector housings

Applications

• Consumer electronics

• Commercial vehicles

Should I use a crimp connector or a solder connector?

Soldering involves heating a filler metal alloy of lead, tin, brass or silver to join cable and connector together. Over time, this filler metal can degrade and cause a loss of reliability. A crimp connector is Faster and uses pressure to create an air-tight seal and a stronger, more dependable connection that will last.
