They are ideal for use where there is little space or for organising cable installations that require multiple cabling connections, especially within industrial or entertainment applications. Typical applications include interconnections with instruments, electrical equipment, data transmission and process control

Current carrying capacities for multi-core cables are not given owing to the varied conditions of loading and construction. However, for guidance, where a single core of a multi-core cable is loaded, the current in a 7/0.2mm conductor should not exceed 1 Amp.

What is multicore industrial cable?
