RS PRO Panel Mount XLR Connector, Female, 4-Way, Silver Plating

Need to create a secure connection to your audio and stage equipment? Try this female XLR (external line return) socket from the RS PRO range. It has four contacts that enable a secure plug attachment. It also comes with a squeeze-release clip mechanism that allows for quick and easy disconnection.

Thanks to the standard housing design and two fixing holes, this socket can be quickly and easily panel-mounted. The casing is crafted from a die-cast zinc material for strength and rigidity. The highly conductive silver-plated brass contacts offer high reliability. For improved wire retention, the solder tags include holes and are suitable for wire sizes ranging from 2.8 mm to 8 mm.

You can use XLR connectors to hook up headsets and microphones in the leisure, communication and entertainment industries. They're also often used in recording studios, theatres and conference centres.
