Molex PicoBlade Standard Receptacle Cable Assemblies - 15134 Series

PicoBlade wire-to-board cable assemblies in a range of cable lengths terminated either end with a PicoBlade receptacle connector. These PicoBlade connector cable assemblies are constructed using UL1061 discrete wires to help make design, prototyping and production easier. The pin to pin single map configuration allows each signal to be assigned to a pin without having to design the cable layout. The PicoBlade receptacles have a single row, compact space saving design with a small 1.25 mm pitch. A friction lock on the connector ensures that the cable assembly is securely attached to the mating header preventing accidental unmating due to vibration or mishandling. These PicoBlade cable assemblies are designed for use with Series 53261, 53047, 53398 and 53048 PicoBlade wire to board PCB headers

Features and Benefits

• Constructed using UL1061 discrete wires for ease of design
• Pin to pin map configurations reduce the need for cable layout design
• Compact space saving connector design with a small 1.25 mm pitch
• Friction locks on connector housings for secure mating connection to header
• Available in a Range of cable lengths

Molex Wire-to-Board Cable Assembly, 300mm Length, 125V - PicoBlade Series - 15134-0403

Looking for a connection solution for PCBs (printed circuit boards)? This cable assembly from Molex features a four-in-one setup that lets you assign different signal functions to wires terminated on a single connector receptacle. Thanks to its polyester cable sheath, this component is both durable and flexible, and you can twist and turn it in any direction. The contacts on its connectors are made of phosphor-bronze material for superior conductivity. Cable assemblies of this type are commonly used in the automation industry for prototype design.

Features & Benefits

• Tin contact plating for protection from rust and decay
• Voltage rating of 125V and current rating of 1A make it suitable for low-voltage applications
• Vibration-proof friction lock to prevent accidental unmating from PCB headers
• Wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C for use in harsh environments

Applications

• Personal computers
• Fitness equipment
• Medical diagnostic equipment
• Mobile devices

Does damage to one wire on this cable assembly affect the others?

If the damaged wire is properly isolated, you can continue to use the cable assembly safely. However, there's a risk of short circuit if the damaged wire isn't closed out.
