The ON Semiconductor NCV8187 is 1.2 A LDO linear voltage regulator. It is a very stable and accurate device with low quiescent current consumption, low dropout, low output noise and very good PSRR. The regulator incorporates several protection features such as thermal shutdown, soft start, current limiting and also power good output signal for easy MCU interfacing.
