The LZ1 series of ultraviolet (UV) LED Gen 2 emitters, from LedEngin Inc, come in the ultra-compact 4.4 x 4.4mm package. They provide a high flux performance and exceptional optical power density. The LZ1 UV devices offer impressive radiometric power in the wavelength range specifically required for curing, printing, sterilization, currency verification, and various medical applications. These LZ1 emitters optimize light output, have excellent UV resistance, and minimize stresses, resulting in monumental reliability and radiant flux maintenance. The patented design has unparalleled thermal and optical performance. Suitable applications for the LZ1 series of UV LEDs include curing, printing, PCB exposure, sterilization, medical, currency verification, fluorescence microscopy, inspection of dyes, rodent and animal contamination and forensics.
