The Lapp Data Cable features low capacitance and is designed for wiring data systems with transmission rates up to 10 Mbit/s. It is qualified for serial interfaces RS422 and RS485 and can be used as a signal, control, and measuring cable, as well as for transmitting low, sensitive signals and high bit rates. The twisted pair design and screening provide protection against electromagnetic interference. These cables are intended for fixed installation in dry and damp interiors and occasional flexible use. They support solderless connections, such as insulation displacement technology and MAXI-TERMI-Point wiring.
