RS PRO 500 Ω Metal Film Resistor 1 W ±0.5%


This RS PRO resistor regulates the electrical flow of your device and prevents any melting or burnout. This component uses metal film technology to create a stable current within a circuit and has axial lead wires that serve as pliable connectors to your device.
The resistor is coated with a blue resin that protects the item from moisture, flames and impact damage. A metal film resistor such as this one has good characteristics for tolerance, stability and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), so it's a sensible choice for active filters or bridge circuits.
This unit contains only minimal amounts of any harmful substances, so you'll find it's compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standard. It's suitable for use with LED lights, spark plugs and amplifiers.
