Ohmite 10 Series Current Sense Resistors

Ohmite 10 Series are current sense axial resistors. Two versions of the 10 series axial resistors are available, with either two terminals or four terminals.

The four termination variation is designed for use in a Kelvin configuration. This configuration allows a current to be applied through two opposite terminals while the sensing voltage is measure across the other two terminals. The temperature coefficient of the terminals and the resistance is practically eliminated by the Kelvin configuration. The use of four terminals enables a lower self-heating drift and lower temperature coefficient of resistance than traditional two terminal axial resistors.

Features

1% tolerance as standard, but other options are available
These axial resistors are low inductance and non-inductive below 0.25 Ω
Encapsulated in a silicone compound
Four terminal variations have tinned copper leads, while two terminals variations feature solder plated copper or copper clad steel terminals
RoHS Compliant

Product Application Information

10 series axial resistors are suitable for current sensing applications. The four terminal variations are ideal for low resistance applications requiring the highest accuracy and temperature stability.
