Honeywell Bimetallic Thermostat, 250V AC, +80°C Opening Temperature - 2455RP 9100-436 L80C

Keep your system’s climate regulated with this open-on-rise thermostat from Honeywell. Its bimetallic contacts are designed to expand and contract with heat fluctuations, triggering the automatic on-and-off switching of your circuit. This thermostat activates across a temperature range of +65°C to +80°C, turning your system on at the lower end of the scale to prevent excess cooling and off at the high end to avoid overheating. The stainless steel end cap protects the device against the effects of high-heat environments. You can easily connect this switch to your circuit wires using its built-in solder tab.

Features & Benefits

• Fitted with a floating steel bracket for easy mounting
• Wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +186°C for use in harsh settings
• Voltage rating of 250V AC for use in high-power systems
• Corrosion and wear-resistant body made from PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) for use in demanding environments

Applications

• Residential heating systems
• Air conditioners
• Ventilation equipment

What type of switch configuration does this thermostat have?

This thermostat features an NC (normally closed) switch configuration, meaning your circuit remains active unless a change in temperature is recorded.
