Jumo Capillary Thermostat, Automatic Reset, Surface Mount

The Jumo 1 pole mechanical surface mounting thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates on the fluid expansion principle and can be used without any problems up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 149°C. The smooth round sensor made of copper has a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 66 mm. When the temperature at the sensor cools down below -20 °C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 also opens, but closes itself again when the temperature rises. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit is permanently opened, unlocking is then no longer possible. It is very flexible and can be used in building automation as well as in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology. Further areas of application are the plastics industry, apparatus and mechanical engineering as well as furnace construction and temperature monitoring in laboratory and climatic chambers.
