The Jumo 1 pole mechanical surface mounted thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates according to the fluid expansion principle and can be used up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 50°C without any problems. The spiral probe made of stainless steel is fixed on the side of the case. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the case is -40 to 40 °C in temperature class T6 or max. 70 °C in temperature class T4. The case is fixed directly to the bottom section of the case by means of 4 screws. The desired shutdown temperature can be easily set on a scale with the aid of a screwdriver after removing the case lid. The temperature monitor is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +0/-2 K in the middle third of the scale. Suitable for explosive atmospheres in ex zones 1, 2, 21, and 22.
