RS PRO KX Extension Cable


This extension cable is suitable for lengthening thermocouple leads without introducing an unwanted electromagnetic field (EMF). It's a KX (extension type) cable with a positive conductor made of Chromel and a negative conductor made of Alumel, designed to extend Type K thermocouples. The overall glass fibre insulation means the cable has a high resistance to bending and damage. It also protects you from electric shock, making the component safe to use and acts as a shield for electromagnetic interference (EMI) to provide seamless transmission.
With an operating temperature range of between -75°C and +480°C, this cable is capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions. It's also 10 m long, which means it can cover a large distance while still operating effectively.
