RS PRO SMT Silicone Heat Compound Paste
This general purpose heat sink silicone grease from RS Pro can be used across a number of applications and within a wide operating temperature range.
The compound is made up of metal oxide and silicone oil and is thermally conductive. The thermal paste works by filling in all those minuscule imperfections, which could otherwise trap tiny air particles in between the CPU and heat-sink and therefore prevent the CPU from cooling properly.
Features and Benefits
• 20 ml tube
• Superior thermal conductivity even at high temperatures
• Excellent non-creep characteristics
• Safe and easy to use
• 4 years shelf life

How do I use silicone grease?
Apply a thin layer of the grease onto the contact surface. Ensure that the entire interface is covered which will prevent hot-spots. Remove any excess paste squeezed out after mounting has taken place. Best results are achieved when a thin coat in applied between the mating surfaces.
