The Jumo Transmitter acquire sensor signals from RTD temperature probe, thermocouples, resistance transmitter or resistance/potentiometer. When using a resistance/potentiometer or RTD temperature probe, the sensor connection on the input side can be made in two-, three- or four-wire circuit. Voltage signals in the range of -100 to +1100 mV can also be recorded. Depending on the selection of the measuring input, the linearization variants linear, temperature linear and the possibility of a comfortably configurable customer-specific linearization are available. The configuration of the transmitter to probe type, probe connection technology, measuring range (freely adjustable) and linearization is carried out with a setup program on the PC. With the USB interface the min/max process value recorded by the transmitter, the min/max operating temperature can be read out and the sensor wiring can be checked online.
The operating status of the transmitter is signaled by a two color control LED
In a faulty free operation it lights up green
If a malfunction occurs, such as a probe break, this is shown by a blink code
The output signal of the transmitter is 4 to 20 mA
The measuring input and the output signal are galvanically isolated from each other
Reversion of the output signal is possible for both types
The connection to the PC is established by a USB interface, which requires no additional auxiliary voltage
