The Jumo Multifunctional four-wire transmitter is the solution for a wide range of applications in plant engineering due to galvanic isolation and customized linearization. This entry-level model has a width of only 17.5 mm so that it takes up little space in a control cabinet. It acquires sensor signals from RTD temperature probes in three-wire circuits. The transmitter supplies 0(4) to 20 mA as an output signal. The measuring input and the output signal are galvanically isolated from each other. A RS485 Modbus RTU interface is also available. In addition to ATEX and IECEx approval, the multifunctional transmitter has SIL 2/SIL 3 approval according to DIN EN 61508 and PL c/d according to ISO 13849. An operating hours counter is also included. The configuration of the transmitter with respect to probe type, connection technology of the probe, operating hours counter, measuring range (user configurable), and linearization is carried out by a setup program on the PC.
Connection to the PC is established via a USB interface which does not require additional auxiliary voltage
