This embedded switch mode power supply (or SMPS for short) is part of RS PRO's quality EDA100 series of single output AC/DC converters. And that's exactly what it does – used in both commercial and residential environments including factory automation and communication equipment, it converts output between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC).

This compact SMPS is great if you have limited space, with a length of just 78 mm and a depth of 28 mm. The universal input means it can be used with a wide variety of electronic equipment. A built-in internal input filter protects the power supply from interference. It's completely enclosed in a plastic case.

As part of the RS PRO range, this product has undergone strict quality controls for durability and safety. Note that while the maximum operating temperature is +71°C, it de-rates at temperatures above +25°C.
