RS PRO 588 W Embedded Switch Mode Power Supply SMPS, 48 V DC, Enclosed


This chassis-mount embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) has an efficiency rating of 90%, so it consumes less electricity and produces less heat. This SMPS regulates power to an electronic device by maintaining voltage at the desired level.

Part of the RS PRO range, it has been stringently tested for safety and consistency. This highly reliable component has a wide operating ambient temperature range, which reduces the need for a cooling fan. A built-in power factor correction (PFC) increases the load-carrying capacity of your current circuit while reducing the component’s carbon footprint. In addition, this product has undergone a 100% full load burn-in test to detect any early failures and improve its longevity.

The SMPS has a three-year warranty. It complies to UL60950-1, EN60950-1: 2006 and IEC60950-1:2005 worldwide electrical safety standards, as well as emissions and immunity standards for electrostatic discharge.
