The Schneider Electric Surge Arrester is designed for electrical distribution networks with a 1P + N pole configuration and operates in TT and TN-S earthing systems. It is a Type 2 surge arrester, utilizing MOV + GDT technology for effective protection. The device supports a rated operational voltage of 230V ±10% AC at 50/60 Hz. It has a nominal discharge current of 5 kA in differential mode (L/N) and 10 kA in common mode (N/PE). This surge arrester does not include remote signalling.
