Castle Sonus L, Class 1 Noise at Work Sound Level Meter

Castle SONUS L (GA116L) is a Class 1 sound level meter and is designed for industrial safety officers and safety managers, for compliance with ’The Control of Noise at Work regulations 2005’. It is fully compliant with European and International standards. The SONUS is supplied with dBdata LITE PC software for downloading data from the instrument. This can be upgraded to dBDataPro, with enhanced data manipulation and reporting features.

Multiple file saving using on board Flash memory
Dual channel measurements for Lp, Leq and Lmax
Simultaneous measurement of Lp, Leq, Lmax, Apeak or Cpeak or Zpeak, Lep,d, LAE, Dose, Dose / Hour, Pa2H, L10, L90 and L(user)
Channel independent Frequency weighting selection ’A’, ’C’ or ’Z’
Channel independent Time weighting selection ’Slow’, ’Fast’ or ’Impulse’
Housed in tough, crack-resistant ABS plastic

The simultaneous measurement of LAeq and LCPeak makes the SONUS L ideal for measurements to The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, which requires both these measurements. The SONUS also simultaneously records the 'A' and 'C' weighted Leq values, which can be used for hearing protection assessments to the regulations. The data logging nature of the instrument allows you to store measurements to later review.
