Schmersal Solenoid Interlock Switch, Power to Lock Function, 24V AC/DC - AZM 170 Series - AZM 170-11ZRKA 24 VAC/DC

Need guards or gates to be securely locked while dangerous processes are in operation? This Schmersal solenoid interlock switch will do the job. It senses the position of a magnetic actuator to make one electrical NO (normally open) auxiliary contact and break a second NC (normally closed) safety connection. It has a voltage rating of 24V AC/DC, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The switch has an IP67 (ingress protection) rating, so you can confidently use it in challenging industrial environments.

Features and Benefits

• High holding force of 30N gives prevents accidental opening of panels and doors

Application Information

• Security systems
• Machine access panels
• Assembly lines

How do IDC connectors work?

An IDC (insulation-displacement contact) is an electrical connector that connects to the conductors of an insulated cable by forcing selectively sharpened blades through the insulation. This means there's no need to strip the wires before connecting them.
