RS PRO 0.5 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
This RS PRO solder is a thin, lead-based wire metal alloy that permanently joins two different metal parts. The lower melting point of the solder enables you to fuse different segments without melting or damaging them.
The rosin flux in the core of the solder prevents the oxidation of metals so you won't need to add any additional flux when working. A combination of lead and rosin ensures you'll get rapid wetting action and a solder spread that effectively joins small wires and electronic components.
The thinness of the wire allows you to use this solder for more difficult applications like printed circuit boards (PCBs). Lead solder suits parts and surfaces made from brass, nickel and oxidised and beryllium copper.
