RS PRO 0.7 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
Looking for malleable solder that's easy to work with? This RS PRO lead-tin rosin solder wire fuses onto electrical components to secure them together and it's neat and efficient to apply.
This wire has a rosin flux core that makes it easier to melt the solder at lower temperatures and also eliminates the need for a separate flux product. The rosin-based flux coats the solder joint as the wire melts and will keep it resistant to corrosion.
The wire has a 0.7 mm thickness so it's useful for finer electrical units such as computer chips. It's effective on surfaces and parts made from brass, nickel and oxidised and beryllium copper. You can use this solder for white goods, power supplies and electronic toys.
