WERMA Signal Tower With Buzzer, 24V AC/DC, 85dB - 699 Series - 699.420.75

This signal tower from WERMA is used to deliver audio and visual alarms on industrial equipment. It features one red and one green LED (light-emitting diode) element to signal either that a machine is malfunctioning or that it's working properly. The height of this tower can be increased by up to 160mm with the use of extension tubes to maximise visibility. Its buzzer has a sound output of 85dB (decibels), making it easy to hear from a distance.

Features & Benefits

• Ultraviolet (UV) stable polycarbonate (PC) lens to resist discolouration and warping in sunlight

• Low current consumption of 150mA for energy efficiency

• Eight LED lights on each of its two tiers for bright illumination

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C for use in harsh conditions

Applications

• Construction equipment

• Process and packaging machinery

Is this signal tower safe for use in damp environments?

Thanks to its IP65 (ingress protection) rating, the signal tower is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it a safe choice for use in areas where exposure to moisture is likely.

Kompakt 37 LED Signal Tower

The KOMPAKT 37 is a slim-line LED signal tower available in two versions, either in a black housing with coloured lens or in a metal finish with a clear lens.

The coloured lens signal towers have coloured LEDs which provide maximum colour intensity, making them particularly effective in lower light environments. In bright sunlight however it can be difficult to see the difference between a coloured lens and an illuminated coloured lens. This is where the clear lens signal tower comes into its own as it is only coloured when in the ’ON’ position, therefore ensuring it is not mistaken as being illuminated when it is in the ’Off’ position.

Thanks to a diameter of just 37.5 mm the KOMPAKT 37 is ideally suited to applications on small machines and equipment with limited space.

Also available are versions with a 85dB buzzer integrated into the cap of the signal tower which provide an additional audible warning.
