This signal conditioner from Phoenix Contact converts electrical signals from a device in a hazardous location to two loads in a safe area. It enables the output loads to operate with safer currents, minimising the risk of electrical hazards. It's compatible with HART (highway addressable remote transducer) communication, which supports bi-directional transmission of digital operating signals over analogue wiring. This means it has backwards compatibility with legacy machines for convenient use.

For versatility and ease of setup, you can securely connect the wires using a plug-in screw or the spring-cage termination method. The unit also features integrated sockets for simple connection of the HART communicator. You can attach it to a DIN rail for ease of installation. The PA 66 housing material is flame-retardant and wear-resistant for durability in harsh environments. You'll often find this type of device used in pressure and temperature sensing applications.
