Phoenix Contact Repeater, 60V AC, 42V DC - PSI-REP-PROFIBUS/12MB - 2708863


This repeater from Phoenix Contact's PSI series is used in radio signalling when a physical obstruction impedes a signal and prevents radios from communicating. It allows obstructed radio signals to communicate at another point for greater ease of transmission. It has a DIP (dual in-line package) switch for moving between an automatic data rate detection mode and a fixed data rate mode, making it a versatile choice.

The device lets you multiply network coverage and extend the number of devices to which you transmit signals for enhanced efficiency. It also provides four-way electrical isolation between interfaces to prevent interference that could undermine the quality of the transmission. For greater electrical safety, it's also protected against short circuits.
