The Phoenix Contact FO converter that allows you to convert copper-based PROFIBUS interfaces to fiber optics. This converter is ideal for point-to-point connections and features integrated optical diagnostics for continuous monitoring of FO paths. It also has a floating switch contact for advance warning of critical FO paths. With a maximum data rate of 12 Mbps, this converter is suitable for all data rates and offers high-quality electrical isolation between all interfaces. It is approved for use in zone 2 and has intrinsically safe fiber optic interfaces for direct connection to devices in zone 1.
