Smartscan MFU Type 011160
The MFU Type 011160 from Smartscan offers you a reliable, smart and affordable safety relay. The type 011160 can be used in conjunction with the range of 1000 PLUS series safety light curtains with ease as they are highly compatible with each other.
What are some of the features?
• Two dual safety inputs allowing you to connect up to 2 light curtains at any given time.
• A dual input is part of the functionality of the 011160, which allows you to connect your emergency stop circuits as part of your relay.
• Safety monitoring of the output relays is easily distinguishable as the easy to read LED indicators (see below for differences in indication statuses) allow you to track all the inputs and outputs.
• A reset function allowing you to manually override the relay whenever needed.
• External Device Monitoring (EDM) allowing you the ease of access to tracking any other devices on your relay
• DIN Rail mounting to an enclosure of 70mm
• Automatic self-testing will run routines to check its own functionality is working as intended.
• Simultaneous monitoring between all related channels in association with the relay

• Outputs Green LED on = Output on
• Reset Yellow LED on = Reset input on
• Reset Yellow LED on (Continuously) = Auto reset mode
• EDM Yellow LED on = EDM inputs on
• Status Red LEDs on (steady) = System ok
• Status Red LEDs on (flashing) = System lockout
• Outputs Green LED on = Output on
• Reset Yellow LED on = Reset input on
• Reset Yellow LED on (Continuously) = Auto reset mode
• EDM Yellow LED on = EDM inputs on
