Schneider Electric Preventa Range of Safety Relays - XPS Universal Range
The XPSUDN range of safety relay modules is used for providing protection for both the user and the machine through immediately stopping the dangerous movement when instructed to do so from the user or if there is the detection of a problem within the safety circuit. These types of safety relays are predominantly used for monitoring applications such as:
• Monitoring Emergency stop circuits
• Switches activated by protection devices
• Mechanical guard switches
• Magnetic switch with Antivalent or 2 NC contacts
• Proximity safety switch with Antivalent contacts
• PNP Sensor
• RFID safety switch
• Type 4 light curtains

• A solid-state diagnostic output with complete status information facilitates maintenance
• To monitor a higher number of Antivalent contacts using this safety module, the Antivalent contacts can be connected with a NC in series and NO in parallel
• 16 LEDs on the front face provide information on the monitoring circuit status
• 32 terminals with a safe expansion connection
• Removable terminal blocks for the connection type
• Automatic, manual and monitored starts
• 6 safety inputs with 7 ON/OFF configurable pulsed outputs
