For a simple yet effective and reliable machine guard safety system, use the Prosafe SALE series key transfer metal interlock by Allen Bradley Guardmaster.
This robust stainless-steel device provides increased stability and security for machine guard doors and improves safety for personnel, ensuring that access to hazardous areas is restricted until the correct key is inserted into the interlock. The key must be turned 90° to trap it. This trapped key mechanism is actuated by a lever. As it is entirely mechanical, it eliminates the need for electrical wiring and can withstand harsh industrial environments.
