The Jumo Pierceable resistance thermometer with measuring insert 1x Pt1000 according to DIN EN 60751 (tolerance class A) is designed in three-wire technology and intended for temperatures from -30 to +260 °C. The measured values are transmitted via an integrated Wtrans transmitter to the appropriate Wtrans receivers wirelessly, by radio, where they are displayed and are available in digital form at the RS485 interface and as an analog output. A receiver version can signal different alarms at two relay outputs. The transmitter electronics of the resistance thermometer is located vibration-proof in an oil and acid-resistant housing, whose ambient temperature may lie in the ranges -25 to +125 °C. The protection class is IP67. A long-life lithium battery 3.6 V is used for the power supply. The radio frequencies of the Wtrans measuring system (868.4 MHz) are largely insensitive to external interference and allow transmission even in harsh industrial environments.

If the antenna wall holder with the 3 m long antenna cable is used on the receiver side, the range in the free field is 300 m
The 4.0 mm thick stainless steel protection tube is equipped with a centric measuring tip (angle 25°)
The insertion length is 100 mm
A setup program is available as an accessory for easy configuration and parameterization of the Wtrans measuring system on a PC
As an option, the Online Chart function can be used to record measured values on the PC
The resistance thermometer is therefore generally suitable for applications where a high wiring effort should be avoided or is not possible at all
