Double Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings

INA from Schaeffler bearings have solid outer and inner rings and rib-guided cylindrical rollers. Since these bearings have the largest possible number of rolling elements, they have high radial load carrying capacity, high rigidity and are suitable for compact designs. Due to the kinematic conditions, however, they do not achieve the high speeds that are possible when using cylindrical roller bearings with cage.

Cable sheave bearings (cylindrical roller bearings with snap ring grooves) are locating bearings. These bearings are rigid and can support moderate axial forces in both directions and high radial forces. They consist of solid outer and inner rings with ribs, rib-guided cylindrical rollers and sealing rings.

The outer rings have snap ring grooves for retaining rings. The inner rings are axially split, 1 mm wider than the outer rings and held together by a rolled-in steel strip.

Features and Benefits

• Lower operating costs

• Reduced maintenance due to improved lubrication

• Lower heat generation

• Less noise

Product Application Information

The bearings have higher load carrying capacity and longer life for the same dimensioning. In certain applications, a smaller bearing arrangement can be designed.

What specific advantages do sealed bearings offer?

Sealed bearings provide enhanced protection against dirt and moisture, contributing to a longer operational life and reduced maintenance needs. This design helps maintain optimal performance even in challenging environments, making them suitable for use in high-demand settings.

How does the load rating affect performance in heavy-duty applications?

The static and dynamic load ratings indicate the bearing's ability to withstand loads without failure. A higher load rating ensures the bearing can cope with significant weight and stress during operation, thus promoting reliability in demanding machinery.

What factors should be considered when determining the limiting speed?

The limiting speed is influenced by the bearing's design, lubrication type, and load conditions. Selecting the appropriate bearing based on these parameters is crucial to prevent overheating and ensure effective performance in operational environments.
