The renesas RAA3064002GFP and RAA3064003GFP (hereinafter together referred to as this IC) are resolver-to-digital converters which are intended for use with single-phase excitation, two-phase output type resolver sensors (angle sensors). The resolver sensor outputs analogue signals (electrical angle information) which are proportional to the angle of the mechanical rotation of the resolver.
