Sensata Cynergy3 Reed Relay, SPNO, 70mm - FRD30000 Series - FRD32062

This Sensata Cynergy3 radio frequency (RF) reed relay is designed for powerful electrical applications. It's commonly used for over-the-horizon (OTH) high-frequency radar systems and 1 kilowatt (kW) base-station transmitters. The relay's multiple high-vacuum reed switch contacts have an extremely high current-carrying capacity, allowing them to control your high-voltage reed switch. The silver plating on the coil screens it from RF interference and ensures losses are kept to a minimum.

Features & Benefits

• Carries a maximum current of 20 amps (A) at 30 megahertz (MHz), so it's suitable for high-powered applications
• 6.5 kilovolts (kV) direct current (DC) across contacts for high isolation
• Suitable for use with 1kW high-frequency transmitters

How do you install this reed relay?

This reed relay is designed to fit directly to a printed circuit board (PCB). The pins are a standard size and shape, so you can simply press the relay onto the PCB.

What's the contact configuration of this reed relay?

This relay has an SPNO (single pole, normally open) configuration. This means that the circuit is normally not completed (open) until the relay is triggered. This causes the connection to complete (close), activating the circuit.
