The Raspberry Pi IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ PRO is simply mounted on top with its GPIO connectors and the system is ready to produce high quality sound. The chipset of this sound card by Texas Instruments is a PCM5242 DAC with symmetrical output, improved signal-to-noise-ratio and total harmonic distortion. Like the Pi-DAC+, the DAC PRO also has a second audio jack output with full HD sound. The volume can be controlled with direct hardware connection and is further connected to the line out output as well. The new symmetrical output allows for the system to be integrated in a studio environment and thus lets you even run a radio station or home studio with a Raspberry Pi.
