Means of Exit
All forms of electronic locking require a means of activating the lock from the inside. The only exception would be when using an electric strike in conjunction with a rim nightlatch or where a thumbturn or lever handle controls the mortice latch from the inside.
Note
When using a deadlock with an electric strike, an exit switch will still be required.
