Capacitive Sensors - M30 Cylindrical Barrel - Pre-Wired

Capacitive proximity switches sense without any physical contact to the target material. Detection of both conductive and non conductive materials is possible with a capacitive sensor however the most common materials sensed are plastic, powders, granular materials and liquids. Capacitive proximity sensors are ideal for use in applications where the use of inductive sensors may not be possible.

Operating distance adjustable via potentiometer
High EMC resistance
reverse polarity protected and short circuit protection
LED indication

Pepperl & Fuchs

Capacitive sensors can also be used to detect non metallic materials i.e. plastic, paper, fluids etc. Can be used for the detection of levels, or as a hand-held switch.
