Flat Ultrasonic PNP (NO) - 0.5m Sn.

Telemecanique Ultrasonic sensors, OsiSense XX series allow you to detect all types of objects in all applications providing high detection performances at distances of up to 8m, all without any physical contact. The ultrasonic sensors have a mode window allowing the suppression of the foreground and the background all using the same sensor. 100% of materials are detected in all applications.

Ultrasonic sensors are easy to install with integrated connectors, or cable versions in specific models. plus there are various cabling and mounting accessories available which complement and add to the versatility of the Telemecanique OsiSense XX ultrasonic sensors applications.

OsiSense XX Ultrasonic Sensor Available Modes.

Diffuse Mode.

Sensed object reflects the ultrasonic wave back to the sensor changing the output state. Excellent for sensing flat objects when the surface is perpendicular to the ultrasonic beam.

Reflex Mode.

The ultrasonic sensor is in a permanent detecting state on a fixed background. When an object breaks the electronic beam the output changes state and this is suited to sensed objects that absorb the ultrasonic wave or objects that do not reflect-back the ultrasonic wave to the sensor. For example: this would be a sponge that would absorb the beam or pointed objects without a perpendicular face.

Thru-Beam Mode.

The sensor transmitter permanently transmits the sensor ultrasonic wave to a receiver. If an object breaks the ultrasonic beam this changes the output state of the receiver. Thru-Beam mode is best for small objects and has high accuracy and switching frequencies.
