Telemecanique Inductive Proximity Sensors OsiSense XS.

Telemecanique Inductive Proximity Sensors OsiSense XS series (extended sensing range) allow you to detect all types of objects in all applications providing high detection performance for metal objects. This inductive sensor range with industry recognised high performing technology provide non-contact detection of material up to 20 mm. Inductive proximity sensors are available in flush and non-flush models (shielded and non-shielded).

OsiSense inductive proximity sensors are purely for detecting any metal objects up to 60 mm and include an oscillator with windings (an alternating magnetic field is generated in front) making up the sensing phase.

Styles Available.

  • Flush and Non-Flush (shielded and non-shielded).

  • Flat form.

  • Short and long body.

  • PNP and NPN versions (compatible with PLCs and controllers).

  • 2 Wire DC, AC or AC/DC versions (available to be installed as a limit switch).

How do they work and where can I use them?

Inductive proximity sensors contain a coil and an oscillator, these create an electromagnetic field close to the sensing surface. When metal enters this field, a change occurs in the oscillating amplitude. This, in turn, changes the sensor output, showing you and equipment that metal has been sensed. Inductive proximity sensors are suitable for use most industries. Inductive sensors are unaffected by oil, dirt or surface finish and can be used in high vibration and high shock areas.

Applications.

  • Railway. Mobile equipment. Lists and escalators. Hoisting. Material handling, conveying, logistics.

  • Material working, machine tools. Packaging. Food and beverage. Robotics.

Telemecanique Sensors Proximity Sensor, IP69K Rating, LED Indicator - XS630B1MAL2

Do you need a device to spot objects in your setup without making contact? Pick this proximity sensor from Telemecanique Sensors as your lookout. It has a resilient metal body and a PVR-insulated cable terminal that protects you from the risk of shocks. A compact length of 62mm, makes it easy to integrate the unit into setups with space constraints. Thanks to an IP69K rating, you can be sure the sensor is protected against dust and high-temperature, high-pressure water jets in contaminated or hygienic settings.

Features & Benefits

• Cable length of 2m to link devices that are far apart
• Supply voltage rating between 24 and 240V AC/DC for use in low-voltage and high-voltage applications
• 15mm detection range for detection at close quarters
• M30 thread size for easy compatibility with standard equipment
• Safe to use in challenging settings, thanks to an operating temperature range between -25°C and +70°C

Applications

• Food and beverage production
• Hydraulic systems
• Pharmaceutical industry

What material is this sensor made of?

The unit's housing is made from sturdy nickel-plated brass that resists corrosion and impact, offering you long-term performance in demanding settings.
