    Product Details

Telemecanique Sensors Proximity Sensor, Flush Mounting Type, 500Hz Maximum Switching Frequency - OsiSense XS Series - XS1N30PA349TF

Need a device to keep your automated operation on the straight and narrow? Choose this proximity sensor from Telemecanique Sensors. It detects metals in your system at a 20mm range and alerts the control unit if anything steps out of line. The unit has an IP69K rating, so it withstands the hot, high-pressure spray-downs you'd expect in hygiene-critical areas. Demanding conditions are no match for this sensor, thanks to an operating temperature range between -40°C and +50°C. Its standardised M30 thread means you can fix it in place in a jiffy.

    Features & Benefits

    • 2m cable length for flexible connections
    • Inbuilt short-circuit and reverse polarity protection to prevent damage and downtime caused by faults
    • Tough PPS housing resists abrasion and impacts to deliver a long service life
    • Supply voltage range between 12 and 36V DC for versatility
    • LED display lets you monitor status at a glance

    Applications

    • Industrial automation
    • Processing and packaging machines
    • Robotic systems

    How do inductive sensors work?

Inductive sensors like this one generate an electromagnetic field that detects metals inside a certain range. Non-metallic contaminants don't interact with these sensors so they can withstand dirt, chemicals and oils in industrial settings.
