IDEM Non-Contact Switch
The IDEM LPF-RFID series non-contact safety switch has a switching distance of 10mm when closed and 20mm when opened. It has 2NO safety and 1NO auxiliary contacts. It is developed to provide and maintain a high level of functional safety whilst providing a very high anti-tamper coded activation. It has coding that is achieved by using magnetic and RFID techniques and both principles need to be satisfied for the switch to operate safely. It provides a tamper-resistant operation when the actuator is in the sensing range of the switch. This non-contact safety switch has a plastic housing.
