It's typically used in building security systems, laboratories and factory automation settings. This electro-holding magnet requires power to turn on and unlocks when the power is turned off. This makes it useful for industrial lifting technology, machine safety and door-holding devices in case of fire.

The device is easy to mount onto any standard door, thanks to the threaded holes in the rear. To achieve the optimum pull force with this magnet, a 100% contact area must be achieved using an armature plate. The unit is rigorously tested for quality and durability.
