Schmersal Magnetic Actuator - BPS 260-1
This magnetic actuator from Schmersal activates the switching of the BNS 260 range of non-contact switches. Its compact size makes it ideal for use in applications where there's limited space, while its rugged, corrosion-resistant housing of glass fibre-reinforced thermoplastic tolerates challenging industrial environments. How does a magnetic switch work?
Magnetic switches work in a similar way to relays by using a magnetic field to switch over an electrical contact.
