Fluke Oscilloscope Battery Pack, Nickel-Metal Hydride Battery Type, For Use With 120 Series/43 Series Equipment - FLUKE BP120MH

This oscilloscope battery pack provides a rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride power source designed to replace earlier nickel-cadmium units in compatible handheld test instruments. It delivers extended run time compared with its predecessor while remaining the same size and mass, and can be charged in situ using the original instrument charger.

Features & Benefits

• 4.8V nominal voltage enabling stable instrument operation
• 3000 mAh capacity for significantly longer run time
• NiMH chemistry eliminating heavy metals for safer disposal
• Compatible charging while installed for uninterrupted workflows
• Direct replacement for previous battery types to simplify maintenance

Applications

• Suitable for use with handheld ScopeMetre instruments in field diagnostics
• Ideal for power-quality analysers during prolonged site surveys
• Used with portable oscilloscopes for repetitive test cycles in workshops
• Can be used for maintenance tasks requiring extended portable instrument use

How does the pack affect instrument duty cycle?

The increased cell capacity extends operational uptime per charge, reducing the frequency of swap-outs during long measurement sessions.

What charging method is required for recharging?

The pack accepts charging through the instrument’s external adaptor/charger while fitted, permitting desk or field charging without removal.

Are there environmental advantages to this chemistry?

The Nickel-Metal Hydride composition avoids cadmium, lowering the presence of regulated heavy metals at end of life.

Will this version fit instruments that used earlier battery types?

It is dimensionally and electrically compatible as a direct replacement for the previous rechargeable packs used in the referenced portable test tools.
