Applications

The power screwdriver is one of the most essential hand tools in any workman’s kit. There are many situations and professions where a screwdriver is integral to carrying out a specific task, and a power screwdriver can save time and effort over a manual screwdriver. Power screwdrivers are typically used by professional tradesmen, engineers or in home improvement.

• Mechanical and industrial production
• Electronics
• Opening consoles - Xbox/Playstation
• Woodworking/carpentry
• Fastening wood and metal

What is the advantage of a crosshead screw?

A crosshead screw, or Phillips screw, is that it naturally centers the torque when a Phillips screwdriver applied, meaning there is less resistance and more control when screwing and unscrewing. To lessen the chance of the driver slipping from the screw head, known as cam out, a crosshead screw is preferable to a conventional slotted screw.
