CL700 True RMS Digital Clamp Meter, AC Auto-Ranging
The Klein Tools CL700 electrical tester is an automatically ranging True RMS clamp meter that measures AC current via the clamp, and measures AC or DC voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and tests diodes via test leads, and temperature via a thermocouple probe. It also features a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode for identifying and eliminating ghost or stray voltages.
The CL700 is a more advanced model compared to the CL600 (270-7987) that comes with several additional features, making it suitable for professional electricians and those working on more demanding electrical tasks. While the CL600 covers basic electrical measurements like voltage, current, resistance, and continuity, the CL700 offers a wider range, including capacitance, temperature, frequency, and LoZ (Low Impedance) mode for identifying ghost or stray voltage.
