RS PRO Electric Soldering Iron, 220 V, 50 W
This soldering iron is a versatile ceramic heater with a temperature range of up to +500°C. It's used with soldering wire to attach components to a circuit board. This type of soldering iron is typically used by electricians or by mechanics in automotive repair.
The soldering iron features a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor that regulates the temperature output and keeps it at a constant level. For different heat requirements, the temperature can be manually calibrated using a handy knob. Its handle is resistant to heat and fire, which keeps your hands safe from accidental burns.
The power cord has three grounded cores and an electrostatic-discharge-safe design that minimises damage to both the user and electronic components. Soldering irons are used in manufacturing circuit boards and combining two pieces of metal. As it's part of the RS PRO range, this product has been stringently tested for quality and durability.
