The Digi International XBee-PRO ZigBee RF module is high tech device that operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band allows the formation of a mesh network. The transceiver is built with the silicon labs EM357 system-on-chip microcontroller. This module is designed to operate within the ZigBee protocol and support the unique needs of low-cost, low-power wireless sensor networks. It provides cost-effective wireless connectivity to electronic devices. The design has improved power consumption that supports over-the-air firmware updates. It has a high power output and high receiver sensitivity. It can provide long-range line-of-sight communication for up to 3200m.
