Discovery Kit for STM32 F3 MCUs

The ST Microelectronics STM32F3DISCOVERY is a Discovery board for the STM32F3 microcontrollers (MCUs). It includes everything required for beginners and experienced users to start developing applications quickly and easily.

The STM32F3DISCOVERY development board features a built-in ST-LINK debugger/programmer system.

What is the STM32 F3?
STM32 F3 series of microcontrollers are mixed-signal MCUs with both DSP and FPU instructions. It is based on ARM Cortex-M4 and offers up to 72MHz. The STM32F303VCT6 is the onboard chip which comes in a 100-pin LQFP package.

What software does it use?
Alongside the STM32F3DISCOVERY hardware, you will require software to write your coding etc. This software includes:
- IAR EWARM (IAR Embedded Workbench)
- Keil MDK-ARM
- GCC-based IDEs (ARM, Atollic, TrueSTUDIO)

What else do I need?
You need a PC running Windows XP, Windows 7 or Window 8. You will also need a USB cable going from USB-A to mini-B.
