RS PRO Hydraulic Pressure Sensor, BSP 1/4, M2 (DIN Plug), 20 bar to 200 bar
Use this sensor from RS PRO to shut off the flow of air or liquid once a set pressure is reached. It contains a microswitch that closes in response to the specified pressure, increasing safety and preventing damage to your pneumatic system.
This sensor connects to a 1/4 inch BSP (British Standard Pipe) socket, so it's compatible with standard fixtures and is easy to fit into your existing assembly. Setting the triggering pressure is simple, thanks to the adjustable screw on the back of the unit.
You can set the microswitch to either a normally open or normally closed position, and it has three connections for added versatility. The built-in mechanical stop is designed to ensure a quick shut-off before the system is damaged by overpressure. The sensor has a maximum pressure rating of 200 bar, so it can cope with heavy-duty industrial applications.
